The kids went back east today

I am still feeling kind of sick from the nasty stomach bug. I thought I was fine, but then earlier today I got very nauseated and almost threw up. Ugh.

The kids flew back to their dad's house. My tiny apartment all of a sudden feels huge and empty and quiet. Giant Bird has been looking all over for the kids like he expects them to pop in the sliding door any minute, or emerge from the bathroom all wet and still full of bubbles.

Going back to bed now, can't type, the screen's way too blurry...
