Marsh Rabbit
I saw a marsh rabbit (smaller and redder than a cottontail, with rounded, shorter ears) near my work this morning. Usually, they live in swamps--they are marsh rabbits--so I looked for the swampy ground, still hoping to find tadpoles.
There was no swamp left, just dried silt and clay. There is a drought on.

Marsh Rabbit keeps making me think of March Hare.
