Don't make noises around birds that you don't want repeated

This can be hard to do in a studio apartment. Giant Bird is under his cage right now making the most absurd collection of not-for-company noises, most of which I think he picked up in a prior home.

The mantis eggs are still a no-go. Should I put another ootheca in and hope? I am also now incubating some coturnix quail eggs. What'm I gonna do with coturnix quails? With any luck, sell them at $10 each when they've grown up...lots of people like having quail in their aviaries to pick up all the stuff parrots drop. That's my theory, anyway.
